We are pleased to announce that the Seventh Annual Winterfest Online celebration will be held February 6-14, 2010. Everyone from every cyber-tunnel is invited to join us as we remember the past and dream of the future. Some of last year's festivities remain available in the Great Hall.
If you missed out on the magic - or just want to relive it - feel free to drop by.
WFOL will become whatever YOU make of it. It is a time of sharing your friendship and your boundless talents. And although February may seem far away, it isn’t too late to start planning what you might be able to contribute to the festivities.
Remember, Winterfest depends on the many generous and creative talents of the fans. It has in the past and it will continue to do so now and in the future. Our contributors can count themselves among both the hosts who provide the entertainment and the guests of honor who enjoy all the fun activities and wonderful submissions.
Watch for more candles that will be full of suggestions and details as to how you can make this Winterfest Online a celebration to remember. For now, mark your calendars and remember that Winterfest will be incomplete, unless YOU are there.

ROUND ROBIN VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Greetings!
Today we are sending out a special request.
The Round Robins, both Classic and 3S, have become a time honored tradition of Winterfest Online. The writers are chosen either by private invitation or by open invitation to all of fandom. This year we have decided to ask for volunteers which means YOU are invited to participate. Writing for the RRs is an opportunity to contribute in a small but unique way and yet be a part of something much larger and very special. However, it is not a commitment to be taken lightly.

If after reading through the guidelines you feel that you are up to the challenge, please contact the Wintercandlemakers as soon as possible. The deadline to reply is Sunday, October 25th. Please indicate which RR you are interested in.

Salutations to our fellow BATB fans!
As promised in our first candle, we are back to encourage each and every one of you to join in the fun and whip up something cute, touching, beautiful, quirky, delectable, unique or just plain “out there” for Winterfest Online 2010. No matter who you are, no matter what your talent, (and EVERYONE has a talent) we need YOU to help us fill the Great Hall with new treasures to be discovered and enjoyed by all.

Time will pass quickly, and before you realize it, WFOL 2010 will be here, so be sure to mark February 6th - 14th on your calendar, and put your thinking caps on.
To help you with some basic ideas, here are a few suggestions and guidelines to get those creative juices flowing.

There is still time to volunteer for the Round Robins. The deadline is October 25th. To those of you who have responded…Thank You! To those of you who intended to and haven't, there's still time.
AS WFOL draws closer, we will offer more ideas for opportunities to participate in the festivities. But don’t wait. Do something now AND do something later. The more, the better!!
